Today I’m particuarly thankful for encouragement. It is encouragement that continues to keep my anxiety at bay. I cannot even begin to tell you how much everyone has continued to encourage me as I’ve decided to go back to school for teaching. It has been a whirlwind of emotions and I’m so thankful for those that have been with me through it all. I’m especially thankful for my friend Jessica. She always lets me go on and on about my classes and how excited I am about them. She never complains about it at all. I keep her updated with my daily countdown of days until school starts, which I know can be annoying. By the way, I have 25 days until I start school! Anyways, I’m getting sidetracked. Her encouragement is one of the reasons why I haven’t decided to just give up already. My schedule in the spring will not be easy by any means and I’m probably going to have more than a few mental breakdowns. However, I know that her encouragement and the encouragment of my other friends, coworkers, and church family will keep me right on track. God has made me to be a teacher, for this I am absolutely certain. It may be the hardest road I take thus far in my life, but I also know that it will be the most rewarding one. I thank each of you for reading my blog everyday through all of my rants. I’m sure they will only get more cumbersome as I actually get in the classroom, but I do ask that you continue to encourage me. Everyone needs encouragement whether your 1 or 100 years old.
Today I ask that you join me in encouraging Jessica. She has an amazing blog Thrifty N’ Thriving . It is full of ways to save money, DIY home projects, and she also keeps you up to date on the ongoings in her life. I ask that each of you please encourage her just as she has always encouraged me.
Thanks for reading!
